The Lighthouse is an organization dedicated to providing housing, hope, and healing for asylum-seekers and their families who have been released from the US Immigration System as they undergo the rigorous and sometimes lengthy asylum-seeking process.

In addition to providing safe housing and a caring community, The Lighthouse provides guests with the support of a licensed social worker, educational opportunities such as classes in English and financial literacy, food, clothing and more.

A ministry of the Episcopal Church of St. Paul & Incarnation in Jersey City, NJ, The Lighthouse depends on the generosity of individuals and organizations to fulfill its ambitious mission.

The Lighthouse is what we need so desperately right now... for locals who feel the need to help out in today’s frustrating times, as well as the asylees, who need our help so desperately.
